UPDATES WITH GOVERNOR'S OFFICE STATEMENT AND POLICE OFFICER WOUNDED

GAZIANTEP, Turkey (AA) - Turkish police killed a terrorist in front of the Security Directorate building in the southeastern city of Gaziantep Tuesday, the governor's office confirmed.
One police officer was also slightly wounded in the shootout following the armed attack on the vehicle entrance checkpoint at 3:20 p.m. local time (1220GMT), the statement said.
An investigation has been launched into the incident, it added.
Following the attack, security has been tightened in the city.
Police officers are also taking witness statements.
