UPDATES WITH AGREEMENT SIGNED; CHANGES HEADLINE, LEDE; EDITS THROUGHOUT

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey’s global news outlet Anadolu Agency and Sudan’s official Sudan News Agency (SUNA) renewed a cooperation agreement on Thursday.
The deal, which allows Anadolu Agency and SUNA to share news stories and visual content between both sides, was inked at the presidential complex in the Turkish capital Ankara.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Sudan’s Sovereignty Council head Abdel Fattah al-Burhan attended the signing ceremony.
The agreement was signed by Anadolu Agency’s Director General Serdar Karagoz and Abdalla Altoum, the head of US and European Affairs in the Sudanese Foreign Ministry.
