UPDATES DETAILS THROUGHOUT, NUMBER INJURED
BRUSSELS (AA) – At least one person was killed and four others injured after a gas explosion rocked a sports center in Belgium’s southern city of Chimay, authorities said Friday.
Officials from the government’s crisis management center said portions of the center collapsed but there were no victims trapped under the rubble.
Chimay is located 90 kilometers (56 miles) south Brussels, which was hit by terrorist attacks by Daesh earlier this year.
