UPDATES WITH DETAILS OF MEETING, REVISES DECK

DAMASCUS / ISTANBUL (AA) – A trio of top Turkish officials on Thursday met with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa during a working visit to neighboring Syria.
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, and Ibrahim Kalin, head of the National Intelligence Organization, were received by Sharaa in the capital Damascus.
The Turkish officials' visit, aimed at official talks, also includes meetings with their Syrian counterparts.
Discussions with Sharaa focused on bilateral relations and recent regional developments.
The meeting is ongoing, and more details are expected to be shared later.
