ISTANBUL (AA) – Firefighters managed to extinguish a fire that broke out at Hong Kong’s World Trade Centre on Wednesday, the government's information department said.
In a statement, the government of the special administrative region said the multi-story structure, one of the city's busiest buildings on Gloucester Road, started at 12.37 p.m. local time (04:37GMT).
It was put out as 4.30 p.m. (08:30GMT) as “firemen used two jets and mobilized two breathing apparatus teams.”
While many people said to have been trapped on different floors were evacuated, at least 13 people who "felt unwell" were shifted to hospital.
