KYIV, Ukraine (AA) – A large explosion was heard in Kyiv on Wednesday evening, shortly after warning sirens rang out in Ukraine’s capital.
Preliminary reports indicate Kyiv’s central railway station was targeted.
A major heating pipeline in the capital was damaged as a result of the missile strike to the area of the Central Railway Station, according to Anton Gerashchenko, advisor to Ukraine's interior minister.
"A part of the city might be deprived of the heat tonight," he added.
No information on damage or casualties is available yet.
