GENEVA (AA) – A Swiss military helicopter crashed over the Alps Wednesday, killing two people aboard, the country’s defense ministry has confirmed.
The aircraft came down over the Gotthard Pass in southeastern Switzerland, according to a ministry statement.
Appropriate emergency measures were taken immediately, the ministry added.
