UPDATES WITH REVISED QUAKE INFORMATION ACCORDING TO USGS; CHANGES DECK

ISTANBUL (AA) – A powerful 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit the Alaska Peninsula region on Sunday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The measurement of the earthquake's magnitude by USGS was lowered from 7.4 to 7.2 and its depth was revised from 9.3 km to 32.6 km ( 20.3 miles).
The US Tsunami Warning System said there is a tsunami threat after the earthquake.
