UPDATES WITH NUMBER OF CASUALTIES CHANGES HEADLINE

DIYARBAKIR, Turkey (AA) – Three police officers were martyred and three others injured in a terror attack in the Sur district of Turkey's southeastern Diyarbakir province on Monday, according to a security source.
Explosives planted by PKK terrorists blew up as a police vehicle was passing by near an excavation site at the Dicle University campus, said the source who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to media .
The injured were rushed to nearby Dicle University Hospital; two of them succumbed to their wounds.
Three others are still at the hospital -- one is in critical condition -- said hospital sources .
Police are conducting an investigation at the scene.
