MARDIN, Turkey (AA) – Two civilians and a police officer lost their lives, 30 people wounded in a terrorist car-bomb attack on Wednesday outside a police building in southeastern Turkey, according to Turkey's prime minister.
Binali Yildirim confirmed that the wounded had been taken to nearby hospitals.
He added said that the PKK was responsible for placing the car bomb outside the police department building in Mardin's Midyat district.
Footage from the scene shows many buildings heavily damaged by the explosion.
The blast comes one day after seven police officers and four civilians died in a car-bomb attack in central Istanbul.
