UPDATE REVISES BYLINE, ADDS CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE FROM TURKISH PRESIDENT ERDOGAN

NYON, Switzerland / ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish football team Trabzonspor eliminated Austria's Salzburg on Friday to reach the final in the UEFA Youth League.
The Turkish team broke the deadlock in the 73rd minute when Yigit Kemal Turan scored at Colovray Sports Centre in Nyon, Switzerland.
Salzburg leveled it in the 84th minute with Mellberg's score.
Trabzonspor took the lead again in the 89th minute when Boran Baskan scored.
The match ended with Trabzonspor leading 2-1. The claret-blue team made it to the final.
Following the match, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated Trabzonspor club officials over the phone.
In the final, the Turkish team will face the winner of the AZ Alkmaar-Barcelona match set to start soon.
