ANKARA (AA) – Turkish jets destroyed 34 Daesh targets on Friday in northern Syria as part of Operation Euphrates Shield.
The Turkish Armed Forces said in a statement targets in the regions of Bratah, Bab, Bzagah and Zarzur were destroyed in air attacks.
Targets included 21 shelters and headquarters, six checkpoints, five ammunition depots and two armed vehicles.
All the Turkish aircraft returned safely to base.
Friday marks the 108th day of the operation, which began in late August to improve security, support coalition forces and eliminate the terror threat along Turkey’s border using Free Syrian Army fighters backed by Turkish armor, artillery and jets.
