UPDATES WITH HIGHEST TEMPERATURE; CHANGES DECK; REVISES LEDE

LONDON (AA) - The UK's Met Office announced on Tuesday it recorded the hottest temperature ever in Britain.
Temperatures hit 40.2 (104.3F) at Heathrow Airport. The previous record was 38.7C (101.6 F) in Cambridge in 2019.
Temperatures are expected to rise further still throughout the day, with predictions that they will reach 41C (105.8F).
Brits have been advised to stay at home at the peak of the heatwave on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., as well as to stay hydrated.
