ANKARA (AA) - A Ukrainian Antonov-12 cargo airplane made an emergency landing near the western city of Lviv on Friday, the country's Infrastructure Ministry said.
According to preliminary information, the plane landed with fatalities, the ministry said in a statement.
"As a result of the plane crash, three people were killed, three others were injured, and the fate of two people is unknown," the statement read.
It added that the plane was forced to make an emergency landing as it ran out of fuel.
Authorities are investigating the incident, the ministry added.
