ISTANBUL (AA) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha‎ held talks with US Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg, focusing on efforts to achieve a “comprehensive, just, and sustainable peace,” the Foreign Ministry said Thursday.

Sybiha reaffirmed Ukraine’s commitment to reaching peace “through strength” and outlined Kyiv’s vision for necessary steps to end the war with Russia.

He also emphasized the interconnectedness of Ukraine’s security with that of the transatlantic region.

“The security of Ukraine and the security of the transatlantic space are indivisible,” said Sybiha.

He wrote on X that he affirmed Ukraine's "willingness to achieve peace through strength and our vision for the necessary steps."

"I also reiterated that the security of Ukraine and the transatlantic is indivisible," he added.

Kellogg’s visit to Kyiv comes as the war approaches its three-year mark.

His arrival follows recent US-Russia talks in Saudi Arabia to end the conflict, which did not include Ukrainian representatives.
