WASHINGTON/ANKARA (AA) - Police in the US state of Texas said the suspect of the mass shooting at a business park in the city of Bryan, which left 1 person dead and wounded seven others, is under custody.
Officers found "several victims" after they responded to a shooting in the city, and four of them were in critical condition, the Bryan Police Department said Thursday on Twitter.
The suspect has been apprehended in Grimes County after the police launched a manhunt and he was identified as an employee of the business, Larry Bollin from Grimes County.
Bollin, 27, "charged with murder and being held on $1,000,000 bond," the department said. "More charges may possibly be filed tomorrow."
The motive of the incident remains unclear.
According to the police chief, the gunman acted alone and used a handgun.
