ISTANBUL (AA) - Uruguay and Paraguay defeated their opponents in Group A games to seal a place in the Copa America quarterfinals on Friday.
Uruguay, in the fourth spot, claimed a 2-0 victory over Bolivia as the goals came from Carlos Lampe (own goal) and Edinson Cavani at Cuiaba's Arena Pantanal stadium.
Second-place Paraguay picked up a 2-0 win against Chile while Braian Samudio and Miguel Almiron scored for their team at Brasilia's Mane Garrincha Stadium.
Brazil and Ecuador will face each other while Venezuela will play against Peru on Matchday 5 of Copa America 2021 Group B on June 28.
