WASHINGTON (AA) - Top US military officials, including Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, are self-isolating after another official tested positive for the coronavirus.

Vice Commandant of the US Coast Guard Adm. Charles Ray, tested positive Monday, according to a CNN report.

Milley tested negative but as a precaution is working remotely, a defense official told the network.

The chiefs of the Army, Navy and Air Force have also tested negative for the virus, but remain under quarantine as a precaution.

The news came one day after US President Donald Trump, who tested positive Thursday for COVID-19, left Walter Reed Medical Center for the White House, where he was receiving treatment.

The virus has infected more than 7.4 million people in the US and killed an excess of 210,000.
