ISTANBUL (AA) - New home sales in the US totaled 657,000 units in January, down 10.5% from December, the US Census Bureau revealed Wednesday.
The figure is also below market expectations of around 680,000 units.
The number of houses sold in January also dropped 1.1% in January on a yearly basis.
The agency said the median sales price of new houses in January was $446,300 and the average sales price was $510,000.
