WASHINGTON (AA) - The U.S. removed Monday Russia's Independent Petroleum Company from its North Korea sanctions list.
The company was designated in 2017 after it allegedly shipped over $1 million in petroleum products to North Korea in violation of UN sanctions on Pyongyang. AO NNK-Primornefteproduct, its subsidiary, was also sanctioned.
Primornefteproduct was also removed from the sanctions list.
