ANKARA (AA) - The US goods and services trade deficit climbed to $89.2 billion in February, according to the US Commerce Department's Census Bureau data released Tuesday.
The market expectation was for the deficit to reach $88.5 billion.
While exports rose 1.8% from the previous month to $228.6 billion in February, imports increased 1.3% to $317.8 billion.
"The deficit with China increased $7.9 billion to $41.2 billion in February. Exports increased $0.2 billion to $13.0 billion and imports increased $8.1 billion to $54.2 billion," said the agency.
