ISTANBUL (AA) - The US trade deficit for goods decreased 15.6% to $83.3 billion in November, according to data released Tuesday by the Commerce Department’s Census Bureau.
The goods trade deficit is a decline of $15.5 billion from $98.8 billion in October, the agency said in a statement.
The figure was expected to come in at $96.9 billion last month.
Exports of goods for November were $168.9 billion, $5.3 billion less than the previous month, according to the statement.
Imports of goods last month were $252.2 billion, $20.8 billion less than October imports, it added.
