MOSCOW (AA) - Uzbek Foreign Minister Baxtiyor Saidov held on Thursday a meeting with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Sijjarto in Uzbekistan's capital Tashkent.
In a statement on Telegram, Saidov said the meeting was focused on "the most promising areas" of the Uzbek-Hungarian cooperation, including manufacturing, banking, education, agriculture, energy, pharmaceuticals and construction.
"Today, I welcomed the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary H.E. Péter Sijjártó at MFA of Uzbekistan. We had a very productive meeting ...," Saidov said.
Later in the day, Sijjarto will also meet heads of other government bodies of Uzbekistan.
