ISTANBUL (AA) - World Bank and International Monetary Fund's annual meeting will be held in Washington instead of Morocco in 2022.
Due to the uncertainty over the pandemic, the meeting in Marrakesh was postponed to 2023, according to a joint announcement on Monday.
Parties usually hold meetings for two consecutive years in Washington and every third year in another member country.
"The Annual Meetings bring together central bankers, ministers of finance and development, private sector executives, civil society, media and academics to discuss issues of global concern," the statement read.
