RAQQA, Syria/ANKARA (AA) - The YPG/PKK terrorist group on Wednesday killed a local youth in Syria's northern Raqqa province, according to local sources.

Sources said YPG/PKK terrorists in Raqqa’s town of Mansura had attempted to forcibly recruit the young man, a member of Syria’s Abu Khamis tribe.

After the youth resisted their efforts, the terrorists killed him, the same sources said, adding that the perpetrators had fled the area following the crime.

In response to the murder, fellow members of the young man’s tribe torched a local YPG/PKK office and gave the terrorist group 24 hours to vacate the town.
