ISTANBUL (AA) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday said he held a meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda to discuss bilateral relations, joint economic projects, and coordinated diplomatic pressure on Russia to achieve a just peace.

“We discussed bilateral relations, diplomatic efforts, and the importance of pressuring Russia to bring about a just peace,” Zelenskyy wrote on X.

He also emphasized mutual economic cooperation and expressed hope for the successful implementation of joint projects.

Zelenskyy thanked Poland for its continued support during the war. “We value the support of the Polish people and of Andrzej personally since the very beginning of the full-scale invasion,” he said. “Poland’s assistance is very important.”

Poland has been one of Ukraine’s key allies since the beginning of the war in February 2022, providing military aid, humanitarian support, and backing Ukraine’s EU and NATO aspirations.
