Several children injured in knife attack on playground in eastern France

ANKARA (AA) – Several children were injured Thursday in a knife attack on a playground in eastern France, authorities said.

French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said on Twitter that several people, including children, were wounded in the attack, which took place in the city of Annecy.

He added that the attacker was quickly arrested.
