ISTANBUL (AA) – South Korea Tuesday sought "clear evidence" from Pyongyang which has asked a UN agency to probe alleged drone intrusion by Seoul into North Korea.
The South Korean Foreign Ministry said it opposes "politicization" of the International Civil Aviation Organization "without presenting clear evidence" by North Korea over the issue, Yonhap News reported.
It, however, asked North Korea to stop “GPS signal disruptions.”
Pyongyang has sought a probe into alleged drone intrusion into North Korea by Seoul, asking the UN aviation agency to investigate the alleged infiltration.
North Korea claimed last October that the South Korean military flew a drone over Pyongyang, releasing a picture of one shot-down unmanned air vehicle.
