Stratcom Disaster Communication Forum set to be held in Türkiye

ANKARA (AA) - Turkish capital Ankara will host the Stratcom Disaster Communication Forum on April 25-26, Türkiye’s Communications Directorate said on Monday.

The forum, which will gather under the theme of Preparedness, Response and Recovery, will feature 54 speakers from 14 countries and a distinguished audience of over 2,000, the directorate said in a statement.

The two-day forum will address several topics such as risk communication, combating disinformation, technology applications in crisis management and media ethics.

Nine panels, including Media Panel on Disaster Line, and We are with you Türkiye: Panel on International Solidarity during Disasters, will be held as part of the forum.
