Chris Paul, who scored 15 against Minnesota, passes 21,000 points milestone

ANKARA (AA) - The Phoenix Suns got their fifth straight win in the NBA by beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-107 in NBA on Wednesday.

Cameron Johnson led the Suns with 29 points, while his teammate Chris Paul contributed with 15 points and 12 assists at Footprint Center, Phoenix.

"That is a challenge I really enjoy," Johnson said, "They play a little bit different, so being able to execute what we worked on feels pretty good."

Paul passed the 21,000 points mark in NBA after this game.

Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards both dropped 24 points each.

The Phoenix Suns lead the Western standings with 6 wins and 1 loss, while the Minnesota Timberwolves are placed 9th with 4 wins and 4 losses.
