Suspect taken into custody after explosion in Maryland
Federal officials respond to scene; no reported injuries

WASHINGTON (AA) – Police in Baltimore, Maryland took a 46-year-old man into custody following an explosion Monday, according to local media.
Citing police sources, the reports said the explosion occurred in the 400 block of South Gilmor Street on Memorial Day.
Federal officials responded to the scene.
The Baltimore City Fire Department released a statement saying that a "small explosion in a trash can" was reported, while officials said a structure sustained “minimal damage.”
No injuries were reported and an investigation is being conducted.
