The 32nd KOTKU Camp was held at the Diyanet Center of America.

The three-day camp began with a recitation of the Quran by DCA Imam Hatip Bünyamin Özçiçek. UWA President Ahmet Tan, who delivered the opening speech at the program hosted by Harun Yılmaz, thanked everyone who participated, saying, “We have been holding our family camps without interruption for 32 years, including during Covid.”

The speakers at this year's family camp, held during the Thanksgiving holiday in the US for the past 10 years, were Istanbul University Faculty of Theology Lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Necdet Yılmaz, Houston Religious Affairs Attaché Dr. Mahmut Salihoğlu, and Dr. Kazım Şekeroğlu.

In his welcoming speech, DCA President and Washington DC Religious Affairs Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Kanca expressed his pleasure at hosting such valuable groups at DCA, saying that DCA's doors are open to everyone.

Led by Fatih Ergün, the camp featured competitions and entertainment especially for children, while adults enjoyed the Turkish bath at the DCA, designed by architect Muharrem Hilmi Şenalp.

Among those attending the camp, which also featured Sufi music performances, were Kemal Bozkurt, Deputy Chairman of MÜSİAD USA and Editor-in-Chief of Habername; Dr. Hakan Özdener, columnist for Habername; and Prof. Dr. Tuncay Bayrak, an academic.
