Trump claims White House '100%' knows who left cocaine at executive mansion

Narcotic found at presidential residence 'was for use by Hunter, & probably Crooked Joe' Biden, according to former president

By Michael Hernandez

WASHINGTON (AA) - Ex-US President Donald Trump alleged Monday that the White House definitely knows who left a bag of cocaine at the executive mansion, calling on authorities there to release closed-circuit footage.

"The public is demanding to know the White House 'Cocaine Story.' Just like I QUICKLY PROVIDED SECURITY TAPES FROM MAR-a-LAGO on the BOXES HOAX, the White House has Security Cameras (far more than Mar-a-Lago!) all over the place, especially the location in question," Trump said on his proprietary social media website. In fact, Trump provided tapes from his Mar-a-Lago residence only under subpoena, and only after US authorities had sought for many months classified documents Trump illicitly took from the White House.

"THEY 100% KNOW WHO IT IS. If they don’t release information, it means they destroyed the tapes & the Cocaine was for use by Hunter (Biden, the president's son), & probably Crooked Joe (President Biden), in order to give this total disaster of a President a little life and energy!" he added.

Hunter Biden has publicly acknowledged a long history of substance abuse. Republicans have long tried to use the president's son to allege a scandal involving his father, but so far not successfully.

An investigation into the cocaine affair led by the Secret Service is ongoing after the illicit substance was discovered there on July 2. President Joe Biden and his family were not at the White House over the weekend when the cocaine was found.

On Friday, Republican House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer requested the agency brief lawmakers on the ongoing controversy.

Comer demanded the agency provide additional information and described the presence of the illegal substance as "a shameful moment in the White House's history."

White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre has said the location where the cocaine was discovered is a “heavily traveled area” through which many visitors transit.
