Turk Telekom's Erdem Can named 7DAYS EuroCup's Coach of the Year
Can guided Ankara team to tournament finals to take on Gran Canaria

ANKARA (AA) - The 7Days EuroCup on Saturday named Turk Telekom head coach Erdem Can as Coach of the Year for the 2022-23 season.
Can, who guided the Ankara basketball team to the tournament finals to take on Spain's Gran Canaria, won the honor by votes of all 20 head coaches involved in this season's competition.
The 42-year-old became the second Turkish coach to win the honor, after Oktay Mahmuti with Benetton Treviso in 2009.
Turk Telekom will fight for their first EuroLeague appearance since 1998 by facing Gran Canaria in the 7Days EuroCup final on May 3.
