Turkey court remands 2 Iraqis for Daesh links

SAMSUN, Turkey (AA) - A court in northern Turkey remanded in custody two Iraqis for suspected links to Daesh terror group, a police source said on Friday.

Eight other suspects were released under judicial control.

According to the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, security forces arrested the 10 Iraqis in an operation in Samsun province on Tuesday.

At least 319 people have lost their lives in Daesh terror attacks in Turkey, where the terror organization has targeted civilians in suicide bomb, rocket and gun attacks.
