ANKARA (AA) - A hybrid model for in-person education will complement learning in Turkey, the country's education minister said Thursday.
"A hybrid model for in-person education will complement learning in the country as well as the world," said Ziya Selcuk in a tweet.
Schools across Turkey have partially resumed in-person classes after a year of distance learning due to pandemic-related restrictions.
Turkey started vaccinating teachers against COVID-19 with Selcuk getting the first shot on Feb. 24.
Since Turkey began a mass COVID-19 vaccination campaign on Jan. 14, it has administered over 14.13 million vaccine jabs, according to official figures.
As of Thursday, Turkey confirmed over 3 million cases, 30,462 fatalities, and over 2.88 million recoveries.
