Turkish ambassador meets Nigerian defense minister in Abuja
Opportunities to strengthen cooperation in defense, security, military training, counterterrorism discussed during meeting

ISTANBUL (AA) - Mehmet Poroy, Türkiye’s ambassador to Abuja, met Christopher Musa, Nigeria’s defense minister, in Abuja to discuss potential cooperation in defense and security, according to a statement Saturday from the Turkish Embassy.
The meeting focused on enhancing ties in military training, defense industry cooperation, counterterrorism efforts, capacity building and technical collaboration in the defense sector.
