Turkish, Azerbaijani military officials meet in Baku
High-level military dialogue meetings between the 2 countries held annually since 2007

BAKU, Azerbaijan (AA) - Senior military officials from Turkey and Azerbaijan met in the Azeri capital Baku on Tuesday to develop bilateral military cooperation, said a statement from Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry.
According to the statement, Lt. Gen. Yavuz Turkgenci chaired the 10th meeting of Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Military Dialogue, where high-level officials of Turkey's General Staff and Defense Ministry met Azerbaijani military officials.
The meeting highlighted the current situation of military ties between the two countries and what needs to be done to further develop them, the statement said.
An action plan for 2018 was also discussed during the meeting, which will end on Dec. 7.
The high-level military dialogue meetings, where issues of military cooperation between the two countries are evaluated, have been held once a year since 2007.
