Turkish Basketball Super Lig semifinals to begin Saturday

ANKARA (AA) - The semifinal matches of the Turkish Basketball Super Lig will begin Saturday with Fenerbahce Beko taking on Anadolu Efesm and Turk Telekom will face Pinar Karsiyaka.

Turk Telekom eliminated Galatasaray 94-85, 71-86 and 91-77 in the quarterfinals -- the first team to grab two wins to make it into the semifinal round.

Pinar Karsiyaka got their two quarterfinal wins against Bursaspor -- 91-83 and 92-76.

Anadolu Efes advanced by beating Darrussafaka 104-94 and 86-84.

Reigning champions Fenerbahce Beko grabbed their semifinal ticket after beating Tofas 93-78 and 98-87.

The semifinals will end June 8.
