Turkish deputy premier opens mosque in Mongolia
Hakan Cavusoglu attends opening ceremony of Omer mosque and prison-iron-joinery workshop in Ulaanbaatar

ULAANBAATAR, Mongolia (AA) - Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Cavusoglu attended the opening ceremony of a mosque in capital Ulaanbaatar on Tuesday.
Cavusoglu was accompanied by some Turkish officials at the ceremony to mark the opening of Omer mosque built by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
After the ceremony, the deputy premier met Muslims from the region.
Separately, Cavusoglu also attended the opening ceremony of a prison-iron-joinery workshop built by TIKA in Ulaanbaatar.
Turkey's government-run TIKA agency is responsible for implementing the country’s developmental cooperation policies overseas.
The agency offers aid to more than 40 countries around the world.
