ISTANBUL (AA) - The Turkish modular structure manufacturer Karmod has exported 50 warehouse storage containers to Croatia, the company said Wednesday.
The prefabricated containers, each measuring 230x600 centimeters (90x230 inches) and offering 14 square meters (150 square feet) of storage space, were delivered for use in warehouse operations in the Croatian capital Zagreb.
Karmod's Southern Europe Sales Manager Muhammed Emin Celik said container structures are increasingly preferred across Europe for rental and storage services due to their practicality and cost-effectiveness.
“We produce fully sealed, long-lasting structures that are ideal for open-air warehouse storage,” Celik said.
“Thanks to their ready-to-use production model, the containers can be deployed instantly wherever they are needed for storage.”
He added that in addition to standard door configurations, the units are equipped with wide doors suitable for forklift access.
To ensure durability, the containers were customized with reinforced flooring for higher load-bearing capacity. Their exterior panel and chassis of the units were also painted in the corporate colors of the Croatian logistics firm receiving the units.
Celik confirmed that the storage containers are now operational in Zagreb.
