Turkish Football Federation announces changes in number of foreign players

ANKARA (AA) - The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Wednesday announced that the Super Lig clubs can have a maximum of 14 foreign players in the squad and maximum eight players are permitted to play on the pitch at the same time for the 2021-2022 season.

The clubs are limited to register 12 foreign players for the 2022-2023 season and 10 foreign players for the 2023-2024 season.

Super Lig teams are only allowed to include seven non-Turkish players and six non-Turkish players on the pitch at the same time during the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons, respectively.
