Turkish foreign minister discusses Gaza with French counterpart

ANKARA / ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot over the phone on Tuesday.

​​​​​​​During the conversation, efforts to achieve a ceasefire and peace in Gaza were evaluated, according to Turkish diplomatic sources, with no further details given.

The call took place a day after US President Donald Trump, at a White House press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, unveiled a 20-point plan to end Israel's war on Gaza.
