Turkish foreign minister meets speaker of Iraq's House of Representatives

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Monday met with Mahmoud Mashhadani, speaker of the Iraqi House of Representatives, in Ankara, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on X.

No further details of the meeting in the Turkish capital were released as yet.

Last month Fidan paid a visit to Iraq, which borders Türkiye, and met with high-level officials, including Mashhadani.
