Turkish foreign minister visits famed CERN particle physics lab
In Geneva, Hakan Fidan tours CERN and is briefed by officials, meets with Turkish scientists

ANKARA / ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Monday visited the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), a center for groundbreaking work in particle physics in Geneva, Switzerland.
According to diplomatic sources, Fidan, who is in Geneva to attend an informal meeting on the Cyprus issue, toured CERN and was briefed by officials on its important work.
He also met with Turkish scientists working at the facility, the largest particle physics lab in the world.
