Republican People's Party rejects claims party head Kemal Kilicdaroglu is resigning

ANKARA (AA) - Main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) on Wednesday denied resignation claims about its party leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu.
“There is no such agenda as resignation,” CHP lawmaker Bulent Tezcan said during a news briefing at the party's headquarter in capital Ankara.
The party also decided to expel Gursel Erol, an MP-elect from the Elazig province, eastern Turkey from the party over his call for the resignation of Kilicdaroglu.
