Turkish military neutralizes 2 PKK terrorists in northern Syria

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish armed forces on Tuesday neutralized two PKK terrorists who were preparing to attack the Peace Spring Operation region in northern Syria.

"Where the terrorist is, that’s our target,” Türkiye continues to neutralize terrorists before they reach their treacherous goals, the National Defense Ministry stated on its Twitter account.

"Our Turkish Armed Forces neutralized 2 PKK/YPG terrorists who were determined to be preparing to attack the Peace Spring Operation region in northern Syria," it added.

Turkish authorities use the term "neutralize" to imply the terrorists in question surrendered or were killed or captured.

In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Türkiye, the PKK — listed as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the US, and EU — has been responsible for the deaths of more than 40,000 people, including women, children, and infants.
