Turkish PM, German Chancellor to discuss Syria

ANKARA (AA) - Prime Minister Binali Yildirim will meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on Thursday to discuss bilateral issues and the fight against terrorism, according to Turkish prime ministry sources on Wednesday.

The meeting will be part of the Turkish premier's day-long tour to Germany, said the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.

They will discuss bilateral relations, the fight against terrorism, common agenda of the two countries, regional and global issues and developments in Syria, the sources added.
