Turkish PM says investment will rise, when terror ends

HAKKARI, Turkey (AA) - Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said on Friday that investments will rise when terrorism ends.

Speaking in the southeastern province of Hakkari, Yildirim said: "When we end terrorism investments will rise. Europe will not be able to stop us.’’

''Turks and Kurds are one, we are brothers. Together we make Turkey," he added.

More than 1,200 people, including security force personnel and civilians, have lost their lives since the PKK, a Kurdish separatist group -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and EU -- resumed its decades-old armed campaign in July 2015.
