Recep Tayyip Erdogan meets Al Hussein bin Abdullah II at presidential complex

ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday received Jordan’s Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II in the capital Ankara.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan was also present at the meeting, which took place at the presidential complex, the Turkish Presidency said in a statement.
Further details were not immediately available about the closed-door meeting with Abdullah, who is the eldest son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania.
Türkiye and Jordan are in close contact to end the months-long Israeli war in the Gaza Strip. Recently, Turkish officials, including Erdogan, said a plan to relocate Palestinians to Egypt, Jordan, or any other third country is "unacceptable."
